1st Homologated Chiptuning in the Czech Republic

Although there is not and never will be any issue with standard chiptuning itself at technical inspection and emissions testing (inspection stations, emissions stations and the police do not have accessible technology to detect the modification), we decided at the request of some customers to obtain approval for our modifications from the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic.
After a year and a half of intensive negotiations, the Ministry of Transport issued the final positive decision approving our modifications - mass conversion No. HP-0288, file No. 894/2017-150-SCH2/1 dated 29 May 2017.
Our modifications (Premium variant) can be entered into the vehicle registration certificate and are therefore fully legal.
We have mass approval for vehicles in the following categories:
- EURO 3, PETROL + DIESEL
- EURO 4, PETROL + DIESEL
- EURO 5, PETROL + DIESEL
- EURO 6, PETROL + DIESEL
This applies to both naturally aspirated and turbocharged engines. Thanks to this, we are able to register more than 98.6% of modifications in the registration certificate.
Conditions for registration:
- The vehicle must not have the DPF / FAP filter removed
- The vehicle must not have the EGR / AGR valve disabled.
- The vehicle must not have lambda probes disabled.
- The engine must not have mechanical modifications (filters, intake, ...)
Modification Time
Because each vehicle must be modified fully individually, including a post-modification power check (power increase max. 20%) and a post-modification emissions test, the process takes 1 working day (minimum 6 hours). We recommend dropping the vehicle off between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. and collecting it between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Modification Price
Compared with the standard variant, the price of the modification is increased by only CZK 2,490 (the price includes post-modification emissions testing - CZK 500, documentation processing and registration in the vehicle registration certificate - CZK 1,990). If a promotional offer is used, a post-modification power measurement is required - CZK 1,000. The final price for entry into the registration certificate is then CZK 3,490.
Frequently Asked Questions
I have your Standard tune. Is it possible to register it in the registration certificate and what is the price?
If the vehicle's power increase is more than 20%, a new modification with a slight reduction in peak output is required (typically in the range above 4,000 RPM). Normal operating RPM are unchanged. The promotional price is CZK 3,490 - you only pay extra for the power measurement, emissions test and registration entry; the software modification itself is free of charge.
I have the Standard or Eco variant. Should I worry about penalties?
Definitely not. The modifications meet emission standards and are not detectable at technical inspection or emissions testing.
My vehicle has the DPF filter disabled. Can the modification still be registered in the vehicle registration certificate?
No, the vehicle will not pass the emissions test. A new DPF filter must be purchased before the modification.
