Can the device be used in another vehicle?

Yes. In that case removal is completely free of charge and you only pay for installation into the new vehicle. There is no fee for changing the vehicle in the AutoChip Locator system.

How long does installation take?

Depending on the type of vehicle, 2 to 4 hours.

Can I install the device myself?

No, because only in that case can we guarantee reliability and proper operation. For example, poor GPS antenna placement may cause incorrect position reporting on the map.

How big and how heavy is the AutoChip Locator device?

The device dimensions are approx. 8 x 8 x 2 cm, and a backup battery approx. 12 x 5 x 3 cm is connected to the unit. The total weight of the complete system is approx. 500 g.
